Laboratory of Chemistry & Materials Technology

The Laboratory of Chemistry & Materials Technology (LCMT) belongs to the Department of Agricultural Development Agri-food and Natural Resources Management of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since 2019.01.29.
The head of the Lab is Professor V.N. Stathopoulos.

LCMT is located in Psachna campus (Evripos complex), ath the city of Psachna and near the city of Chalkida.

City of Chalkida (greek “Χαλκίδα”): the chief town of the island of Evia (Euboea) in Greece, is situated on the strait of the Evripos at its narrowest point. The name is preserved from antiquity and is derived from the Greek “χαλκός” (copper, bronze). It is also documented that the ships set for the Trojan War gathered at Avlis, the south bank of the strait nearby the city.
